Dr. Ali K. Mohammed is a specialist urologist and currently serves as Director General of the Directorate of Technical Affairs at the Iraqi Ministry of Health (MOH), where he oversees the full scope of medicines regulatory activities.

He previously served as Deputy Director General of the Directorate of Planning and Human Resources at the MOH. Dr. Ali is also a member of several MOH committees, including (but not limited to) the MOH Medicines Policy Committee, the National Drug Selection Committee, the Supreme Committee for the Development of National Industry, and the MOH Opinion Board.
