
Riham Ghoneim is a patient safety and pharmacovigilance leader with over 11 years of experience building and optimizing PV systems across the Middle East. She has led local PV operations, partnered closely with health authorities, and established inspection ready frameworks that ensure consistent and compliant safety oversight in the Levant, Iraq, and the Greater Gulf.
In her current roles as Country Safety Head Back Up for the Gulf and AMEE/APAC Project Lead, Riham leverages her multi country experience to strengthen the strategic contribution of PV across the region. In this role, she leads patient engagement initiatives, ensures that patient insights are systematically embedded into safety decisions, and promotes stronger alignment between countries and global PV functions.
Riham also plays a key role in ensuring PV readiness for new launches, ensuring that the introduction of innovative therapies is supported by a strong, patient centric safety approach that enables safe access and informed decision making.
