Dr. Marian Anwar is a senior Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety leader with over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including more than 15 years dedicated to pharmacovigilance, drug safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance across the Middle East and Africa.

She currently serves as a Pharmacovigilance Consultant and Lead GVP Auditor, supporting pharmaceutical organizations in strengthening compliance frameworks, inspection readiness, quality management systems, and patient safety programs. Throughout her career, she has held regional leadership roles within multinational pharmaceutical companies, leading pharmacovigilance operations, safety governance, risk management activities, audits, inspections, and strategic compliance initiatives across diverse markets.

Dr. Anwar has worked closely with health authorities, industry associations, and key stakeholders to support the advancement of pharmacovigilance regulations and best practices throughout the region. She is widely recognized for her expertise in GVP compliance, quality management systems, audit and inspection readiness, and regulatory excellence.
